Dale is also survived by her step-children, Callie Crane Mason of Conroe; Sean Crane and wife, Heather of Napa Valley, CA and Patrick B. and wife, Darlene of Kingwood and their children and grandchildren. Crane was a loving and giving person who had a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor. Her main joy in life was spending precious time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Pearl Hales; her brothers, Billy Jack Hales and James Hershel Hales; her sisters, Reba Rollins and Ruby Joyce Hales and her uncle, Sonny Henderson.

Crane was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Conroe and was active in many civic affairs in her early adult life being involved in the Montgomery County Fair Assn., Conroe Lioness Club, Conroe Service League, Beta Sigma Phi, Montgomery County Youth Services and the Heritage Museum of Montgomery County to name a few. Dale was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. She passed peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Conroe, Texas.
